Marquee Event Rentals is proud to announce a purchase of inventory and an exclusive partnership with Kansas City-based wedding, design and décor company Ultrapom, resulting in a combination of our teams. Both organizations have enjoyed a longstanding relationship over the past 5 years, often working together to leverage Marquee’s expansive inventory of tenting and tabletop rentals with the cutting-edge design and décor solutions offered by Ultrapom. Through this purchase, Marquee will be able to offer our combined client base an exceptional event experience and one-stop shop for all event needs.
“We are thrilled to forge a new era in the Kansas City event market with Carolyn Campbell Schwartz and the entire Ultrapom team,” said Kirk Waldron, CEO Marquee Event Group. “This move will bring a much needed design element to Marquee’s offering and make shopping for an event in Kansas City a streamlined process.” Ultrapom Owner Carolyn Campbell Schwartz also commented "The Ultrapom team couldn't be more excited to combine forces with Marquee Event Rentals! A Local Dream Team Helped Execute the Timeless Family Affair
We are crushing hard over Mikayela and Rico’s wedding that features a unique idea for a one-0f-a-kind altar backdrop! Held at The Addison Grove, this lush, organic event with jewel-toned accents of garnet and gold is all the fall wedding inspo we need and more. Utilizing elements typical of both rustic style and trendy bohemian alike, “eclectic” seems to be the perfect way to describe this one-of-a-kind wedding. We think that this couple’s choice of the cutest eclectic pieces from Marquee Event Rentals really bring the entire event together.

This wedding had a Tuscan vibe and Thomas and Joel had a southern flair. These two guys beamed excitement all day. They both dressed in suits that fit their style and even changed suits for the reception to add some flair. They had special touches to remember one of the groom’s bothers, that passed away a year before. They mixed bright colors in with classy reception decor to add their own spin to this fun wedding!
“You will need to give the tent company fair warning that you will be needing one and hope that they have one available.” They can also get quite expensive, running anywhere from a few thousand dollars to $10,000, depending on the style that you choose, explains Leslie Cole with Marquee Event Rentals. While policies vary with companies, at Marquee Events, you typically need to book a tent no later than a month out (so not exactly last minute). “Normally a month [out] is fine, but it’s based on availability of the tent and equipment needed and how long the city requires to get a tent permit,” says Cole. And then there’s the deposit. At Marquee Events, it’s 50 percent down. If you cancel before 10 days out from your event, you get that deposit back. Later, though, and you’ll eat the cost.

Dan’s cousin, the officiant, recited the story of the couple’s history and included their thanks and words of love to the guests as Jess and Dan faced them, making for an emotional and intimate ceremony.
