DRIVER HELPER

General Purpose of the Job
The Driver’s Helper is responsible for the unloading / loading tents and other rental equipment in and out of company vehicles according to the driver / lead installer instructions. The Driver’s Helper is also responsible for the installation and tear out of rental equipment per the customers contract at clients property. This position may assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. The Driver’s Helper is an essential role in day to day operations of the company.

• Deciphers packing list and pull necessary equipment for job with warehouse support
• Works with the driver and/or lead to load all non-rental equipment supplies such as sledge hammers, tie straps, screwdrivers, etc.
• Installs rental tent / equipment per the Customer’s contract.
• Works with the driver and/or Crew Lead to instruct customers on the proper use and safety features of rental equipment.
• Unloads and returns tent and related equipment to the correct area.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unused goods.
• Provides directional assistance and guidance (including backing assistance) as instructed by driver.
• Maintains cleanliness of inside of truck cab and cargo areas.
• Reads a road map and clearly communicates directions to the driver; assists with other communications while in motion.
• Reports safety violations to supervisor.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
• Complies with company and government safety requirements (including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment) and other regulations.
• Attends department, location and safety meetings.

TENT INSTALLER / LOADER

General Purpose of the Job

The Installer / Loader is responsible for assisting with tent equipment installations / tear downs. The duties include, but are not limited to those listed below.

*Pull and load tent & related equipment with warehouse support:
*Decipher load list and pull necessary equipment for job
*Make necessary adjustments in load list and check load list against order
*Communicate with operations / sales manager regarding any special notes
*Check equipment off list as it is loaded on required paperwork
*Secure load for safety
*Load tools & operation equipment
*Safely install event tents/event equipment
*Make necessary adjustments in load list and check load list against order.
*Check weather conditions prior to & during installation.
*Lay out drop cloth in area of tent to protect tent tops/vinyl
*Install anchors (stakes / concrete weights) uniformly
*Inspect tent for proper assembly
*If applicable, install all other rented accessories per layout.
• Maintain tent job after installation and adjust per weather conditions
• Inspect tent and accessories for damages before removing. Complete paperwork if necessary
• Install / remove all equipment per manufacturer / company policy
• Repair minor tears, etc. on-site or tag for repair.
• Work with warehouse support to be sure truck is unloaded properly and that everything is returned to inventory.
• Communicate with supervisors; reporting any safety issues or equipment issues in a timely manner
• Adhere to all company/government policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
• Attend department, store and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as requested
