One of the upsides of families spending more time together due to the coronavirus is it has given many the oppertunity to bond with their faimily, specifically fathers and their kids. We talked to the dads of Marquee about the joys of fatherhood this year, in celebration of Father's Day.

What things do you love to do with your kids? Trying new recipes, working on projects around the house together, any sort of impromptu activity.
What do you love most about being a dad? Celebrating life with those two - the good, the sad, and everything in between.
What special things are you planning to do for Father's Day? I'm going to go visit with my dad (physically distancing of course), then I plan on NOT working on the list of projects around the house...which is pretty special.
Is there anything you'd like for Father's Day? A cup of coffee in bed in the morning, a trip to the hardware store in the afternoon, and a quiet evening in front of the TV.
Tell us about hte last time your kids made you laugh? My son and I had a dad joke competition during quarantine each day. I thought I had a winner in "What does a baby computer call his father?" - Data Until he fired back with his original, "Oh man, I don't have enough money to buy that Subarau Outback. I guess I'll have to get that Nissan Sydney Opera House!" We laughed until we literally couldn't anymore.

What new things have you been doing with your kids while you're stuck in the house? Reading books, making forts and a daily dance party!
Tell us about hte last time your kids made you laugh? My kids love to play "Dads the servant" and make all kinds of requests and see if i can pull it off in some way. It's so fun to hear their requests and think of a creative way to "fill the order". Never a dull moment!

What things do you love to do with your kids? I love hanging out with my girls, who are now adults. Whether we are having a nice dinner & wine, or doing something adventurous, I value the time I get to share with them.
What do you love most about being a dad? Watching my little girls develop into loving, honest, successful, strong-willed, driven women has been awesome. Being able to play a role in doing that is what being a dad is all about.
What special things are you planning to do for Father's Day? My oldest daughter will be visiting but my twins will be in Denver where they live. I most certainly will speak to my twins during the day and I am sure with my oldest we will go for a hike or walk along the beach. Simply time with them is what I cherish.
Is there anything you'd like for Father's Day? Materially, nothing. Emotionally, a good face time session with my Denver twins while having the oldest by my side.
What new things have you been doing with your kids while you're stuck in the house? A lot more face timing since they don't live with me. However, my twins did road trip to visit us early on during the pandemic and the entire family had some great dinners!
Tell us about hte last time your kids made you laugh? The last time we were together as a family was in Denver over the President's Day weekend. We were celebrating my birthday and my twin's birthdays. We were out to dinner and as part of our banter, we discussed everyone's first kiss. Again, my girls are now adults so the conversation was quite comical and my wife and I also shared the story of each of our first adolescent kiss. The five of us laughed so hard we were crying and attracting quite a bit of attention.
