NFL Football Scores with Community Outreach Events

Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers Foundation supports a variety of nonprofits including Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity and Give BIG Green Bay. Packers alumni Gerry Ellis and Johnnie Gray recently joined Mark Murphy for First Downs for Trees, a tree planting event that contributed 437 trees to local communities. Packers players also took part in a celebrity bowling event benefiting Wisconsin’s Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association.

The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation supports charitable projects and programs dedicated to football and athletics, health and wellness, and education and the arts through matching grants. Kavon Frazier’s nonprofit helps youth reach their full potential in sports and in life.

The Chicago Bears’ nonprofit Bears Care supports programs that assist disadvantaged children and their families in the Chicagoland area. Bears Care also helps fund medical research and health awareness programs for breast and ovarian cancer. The nonprofit has also issued $19.5 million in grants to more than 100 qualified organizations since 2005.

Kansas City Chiefs

KC is a city known for its great food, so it seems appropriate The Chiefs host annual events to combat hunger. These include The Chiefs’ Thanksgiving Food Distribution program and The Souper Bowl of Caring. The Chiefs also partner with Lift Up America to provide 30,000 pounds of high-protein food to 60 local relief organizations each year. Other charitable efforts include: blood drives, military outreach, and supporting children’s literacy through Read Across America.

The Texans host numerous fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the Houston food bank, local hospitals, and other community organizations. Recent events include:
